TeamFolio Release - 2022.10.21.1243​

We’re very pleased to announce the latest release of our Enterprise Skills Management solution 'TeamFolio' (2022.10.21.1243) is now available.

Main New Features​

Based on customer feedback we’ve added several new and often-requested major features to our market-leading product: External Biography Field Definitions, Mirrored Biography Field Definitions and TeamFolio Native Taxonomy.

External Biography Field Definitions​

External Biography Field Definitions allow TeamFolio to interpret and consume skills data directly from a third party data source. Currently supported data sources are:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • PostgreSQL

External Biography Field Definitions are available within user profile pages, search and nexus.

Mirrored Biography Field Definitions​

Mirrored Biography Field Definitions allow TeamFolio to receive skills data notifications directly from third party applications. Currently supported data providers are any XAPI-compliant Learning Management System or Learning Record Store application. These include, but are not limited to:

  • LinkedIn Learning Management System
  • Udemy

Mirrored Biography Field Definitions are available within user profile pages, search and nexus.

Mirrored Biography Field Definitions are also enabled for Evidence Document and Endorsement TeamFolio feature capability.

TeamFolio Native Taxonomy​

TeamFolio Native Taxonomy brings the most commonly used taxonomies directly into the TeamFolio application without the need for a back-end taxonomy repository.

With TeamFolio Native Taxonomy you may now reference Percentage and Boolean types directly from your Biography Field Definitions without the need to import and create them directly within your Taxonomy repository. Further commonly requested taxonomies will be made available in future releases.
