Evidence Documents

Evidence documents are associated with a specific definition. If evidence documents area enabled for a Definition, a new information icon is embedded directly within the skills on the User Profile page:

1. In this example, the 'IT Certifications [WFT] definition has evidence documents enabled by a TeamFolio administrator.
2. Note that the number of documents linked to any skill in the definition is shown next to the document icon. Here we see there are 3 documents associated with the 'Microsoft Certified Database Administrator' skill. :::

Typical examples of evidence documents might include links to certificates, qualifications or awards relevant to the specific skill. You might also include links to design documents, articles in published journals or professional body publications.

Viewing Evidence Documents

Any viewer of the profile will be able to click on the document icon next to the skill. This will open up a modal window in the same browser tab.

Using the same profile above, if the person viewing does not have permissions to edit Joni Persaud's profile, and they click the evidence documents icon for the 'Microsoft Certified Database Administrator' skill, they will see the following:

1. The logged in user (Lars Blomqvist) does not have permissions to edit another person's profile
2. He's viewing Joni Persaud's profile
3. He clicks on the evidence documents icon for the 'Microsoft Certified Database Administrator' skill in the 'IT Certifications [WFT]' definition.
4. The 3 documents associated with this skill are shown in the modal window. :::

As with Featured Documents, hovering over the document links displays any description for the document, and clicking on the link will open the document or web page in a new browser tab.

Links to both internal and external resources are supported.

Editing Links to Evidence Documents

For users with permissions to edit links to evidence documents, for example people editing their own profile, when clicking the same evidence documents icon, the modal window will allow deletion of existing links and addition of new links:
