Category Display Order
It is possible to order Categories so the sequence they appear on people’s profile pages can be controlled.
Permissions Required
To configure Category Order, the logged in user needs to be a member of an authorisation group that has the Category Editor privilege.
Navigation
To configure Category Order, from the admin menu gear icon in the top right of the web page, navigate to Categories> Order:
- Click the cog icon at the top right of the page to open the admin menu ...
- ... then select the Categories menu ...
- ... then select the Order menu option. :::
Category Order Page
This admin page provides a simple drag and drop user interface, allowing you to re-order Categories and then click Save:
- Click on the Category you wish to reorder ...
- ... then simply drag the Category to its new position in the list. :::
Whenever a new Category is created, it will automatically be added to the end of this list, appearing as the last Category on the profile page of any person who is able to see the Category (see View Filters for more information on how Category and Definition visibility is controlled).
